FIRST NAME: Rebecca, although I keep meaning to start going by my middle name of Jenny as I... don't like my first name that much.
AGE: 17.
FIRST SAW STAR WARS: February (8th or so?) of '99, when I dragged my dad to see the Special Edition of A New Hope. Been hooked ever since. Um. I was nine at the time.
FAVORITE MOVIE (any movie): Velvet Goldmine. Almost Famous. Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Rocky Horror Picture Show. Star Wars saga. Harry Potter saga. Big Fish. Pirates of the Caribbean. Oh, wait, we were supposed to pick one movie?
FAVORITE ACTOR: I'd say Ewan McGregor, but Johnny Depp and Jude Law need to be mentioned too.
FAVORITE ACTRESS: Wait, do you mean Star Wars actresses? Because I don't really have one who's in Star Wars, but in terms of other movies, I think people like Helena Bonham Carter and Christina Ricci are awesome.
FAVORITE SONG: I can never choose just one. Sorry. I love music way too much.
REASON FOR LIKING STAR WARS: Dude, why would I not like Star Wars? ;) But, I really love the characters and the fantasy/mythological aspects of the story. And the themes. Plus, the whole idea of Jedi culture just seals the deal for me, and always has - I really don't know if the SW universe would hold my interest at all without that part of it.
HOW OBSESSED ARE YOU: Obsessed enough to practically raise myself on a diet of Star Wars fan fic (and I'm not even kidding about that one) and to sew up a little purse that says Mrs. Kenobi on it. I actually use it, too.
FAVORITE STAR WARS MOVIE: Oy. I really can't choose.
FAVORITE SW CHARACTER: Again, this is a really hard choice to make, but I'm obsessively obsessed with prequel! Obi-Wan.
HOTTEST SW GUY: Um. A cookie for whoever can guess my answer to this one? ;)
OTHER THINGS YOU MAY BE OBSESSED WITH: Music. I play guitar, and pretty much can't go anywhere or do anything without bringing some cool music in my Discman. My tastes are all over the place - stuff like Nirvana, Billy Talent, Bright Eyes, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Dandy Warhols, the Smiths, Loreena McKennit, Poe, etc. Lots of stuff. I'm also very obsessed with Harry Potter, cats, writing, reading, arts and crafts, Oscar Wilde, slash/ fan fic in general, shopping, hot guys and cool (usually indy) films.
HOW YOU FOUND THIS COMMUNITY: wiccanotwicked crossposted some humourous links to quiobisupport which I have on my flist. I read them, because I've had a shitty week and was in need of distraction/cheering up, and then still required more distraction/ cheering up so I figured I'd check out this community. Glad to be here, too.
